The history of the Hotel Balm in Meggen goes back to the Napoleonic times, when the French troops found their way into Balm. It is supposed that the "Balm" already then was a small rural entity.

Since 1969 the Hotel Balm belongs to the Stofer family. Now the second generation continues running the hotel in a modern and fresh style.
